“Following the events of the shadow-self, the Eternal Struggle finds a wiser yet exhausted version of our hero sporting slightly different armor and a new crown that symbolizes wisdom through the horns. The shadow-self and the wolf have become one “tamed” entity that protects the central figure. The blue spirit, Healing Fox, represents healing as it holds on to a skull and objects I’ve used for spiritual practices. Foxes are known as sly and knowledgeable and I believe that individual and collective healing can be a tricky path to follow. The giant figure resembling an owl is the Eternal Owl and it represents the awareness of being infinite and the burden it can impose on those who have witnessed this truth. The tree behind it all with the floating egg sprouting a flower is symbolic of life’s cyclical nature. Things are constantly ending and beginning despite our desire for stability.”
