This is the third and last piece of my Feminine-Masculine Energy illustrations. The 'Balanced One' is a depiction of a harmonious state between masculine and feminine energy. The state of being an Androgyne symbolizes many truths in Alchemy. The Balanced One is painted holding a flask to honor Alchemy due to the influence it had during my research. The patterns around Their headpiece and wing tell stories of conception, manifestation and realization and Their stance is one of acceptance of self. Themes of growth and abundance are enhanced by the nature that wraps around Their body.
